No longer does he thing that he'll actually become a dragon rider but instead has taken it upon himself to pretend that he's alright with it. With his confidence all but shattered and his dreams on the ground he's just looking to get by until he turns 18.

HISTORY Born as a small land holder's son everyone was rather surprised when the search turned up bringing him in almost 5 years ago. He's been at Lysindiria Weyr since he was twelve and has yet to impress any sort of dragon regardless of the fact that he knows the place inside out and has seen boys younger than him impress instantly. His family was counting on him to bring honor to their name upon being searched but for now they feel as though what they always feared was true, that the person who searched him made a very big mistake. On the bright side though he's learned well enough to help new candidates get used to being in the weyr and knows his lessons about dragons like the back of his hand. It won't be long before he's far too old to impress but that doesn't stop him from trying to be optimistic about it. He keeps a smile on his face and has taken up hide work as a craft, just in case his eighteenth birthday passes without him impressing. Not that he's giving up, its just everyone has told him that it would be best if he had a backup occupation as well.
