the eggs!
Disney might be a tired cliché to use as a Clutch theme…. But screw you, I do what I want! Below are the details of the 32 eggs that Golden Hazleth and Bronze Galgith sired. We will start the first touching as soon as we have at least 20 Candidates, and the touching will last either two weeks or when we have 35 Candidates (Which one will depend on how fast we get those extra 15 Candidates needed).
The largest of the three Gold eggs. It sits dead center of the Clutch, like a shining star. Strange that it doesn’t seem to garner that much attention! Mixed in with the luscious gold shell are a few light swirls of pale red at the very base, almost hidden from sight. It doesn’t have any close neighbors, almost as if the other eggs are avoiding it for some reason. Stranger still, since it seems to have a fairly relaxed and easygoing feeling when approached. Yes, this egg doesn’t seem to have a care in the world, and that includes hatching. Any Candidate that approaches it doesn’t even seem to show interest in, and only when someone sticks around for very long does it seem to give up and poke lazily at the mind before retreating back into its own shell. Quite the strange one, indeed.
The second largest of the Gold eggs, this egg seems to have a serene feeling when approached. On first look, it seems to have more red painting its shell than actual gold. The top is what shows its true nature, the bright gold shining through. This egg sits close the outer edge of the Clutch, leaning heavily on its neighbor The Love is an Open Door Egg. It doesn’t seem to need the help, or so it claims when a Candidate comes by. It just feels the much smaller Egg needs a guiding hand is all. This egg is not one to chat, and will quickly thumb through the mind before retreating. Depending on what it finds, it has been known to leave the impression of gentle sea waves lapping at the mind for a few moments after it fades.
The My Lullaby is the smallest of the Three Gold Eggs, but also the most striking. A deep shade of blood red flecks the eggs in splatters, giving the impression of drying blood. The top is mostly red, with the appearance of the red dripping down the sides in spots to join the splatters. It hardly seems like a Gold egg, but assurance by Hazleth means that it is. Most seem to avoid it, and the Hakuna Matata Egg seems very concerned with it despite being so far away. Drawing close with have it pounce your mind and go through it in a way that is almost painful, reminiscent of a cat jumping a mouse and snapping its neck. Most it will turn from with the impression that it is disgusted with them, but a few have reported that it seems to leave a feeling of being pleased with itself when it retreats.
This egg is somewhere in the middle in size, but still dwarfs some of the eggs that happen to be around it. A blue so deep it reminds one of looking into clear water is what colors the shell. A few splatters of reds here and there are like leaves on the surface. This egg is very calm and somber. It is not unfriendly, but seems to be waiting patiently for whoever approaches than to actively seek out attention. It will touch the mind gently, like a soft breeze. It leaves behind echoes of serenity when it is finished.
One of the smaller half of the clutch, the whole shell is a rich red. It looks to have the texture of fine velvet, which surprises those who touch it since it feels the same as any other egg. A very self-assured egg, it seems to focus more on itself than the actual Candidates who approach. It enters the mind with confidence, boasting about how great it is and not seeming to actually search for anything. It makes as much a show of leaving as it does entering, making those whose mind it touches feel like they should feel honored that it even noticed them.
A smallish egg, but certainly not the smallest in the clutch. The Poor Unfortunate Souls Egg is a cornflower blue at the top that fades into a navy blue at the bottom. It has two small dots of red that almost appear to be like eyes staring at any who approach. This egg slips into the mind like a whisper, and before you even know it is filling your head with ideas about just how nice it would be to have, how none of the other hatchlings could make you near as happy. It exits the mind with a sharp laugh every time, which leaves the odd feeling of dread behind its promises.
A very sweet, energetic egg. It is quite large, and the whole thing looks like a sweet confection of some sort. The whole of the egg is bright pink, save for the top which a cream color and a few evenly spread dots of red around the cream. It gives the impression of a frosted cake with berries on top. The hatchling within seems eager to latch onto any mind it senses coming near, much to the chagrin of the Make a Man Out of You Egg. It buzzes about the mind in a frantic pace, then exits to latch onto the next mind to do the same. It’s attention is sporadic at best, and to get it to focus on you for more than a few moments is quite the feat. Any it lingers on get the impression that a tooth is sore for a second.
A small egg that seems to hide a sinister purpose. It lingers the closest to the He’s a Tramp Egg and seems almost protective of it. The shell seems almost black from top to bottom, but a few small flecks of red can be seen down the left side. It doesn’t seem eager to pay much attention to anyone who comes near; focused more on the He’s a Tramp Egg. Those few who catch its attention get the idea that this egg really does just want the best for you… but it still leaves an odd taste in the mouth. Like something isn’t quite right about all that it says, but no one can really put a finger on it.
The largest egg in the entire clutch aside from the three Queens. The shell is green, like leaves, from top to bottom. It has a few small beads of color in random places that range from all colors of the rainbow. The color spots almost remind one of bugs scurrying across the grass. This egg claims to have no worries, but anyone who sticks around long enough will find its mind wandering to the My Lullaby Egg. This egg seems to flip through the mind in a weird tandem, like a pendulum moving back and forth in the mind. It’s a dizzying sensation, and many Candidates walk away on shaky feet because of it.
A Small egg that seems to pack a lot of punch. The colors fade from pale orange at the top to a dark red at the bottom, giving the look that the egg is a fire in the hot sands its resting on. This egg is lusting, but for what is unknown. Every candidate comes away with a different idea of what it wants- Power, fame, fortune, and even body. Its strange that the egg would have an idea of any of these things, let alone want them. A few have speculated that it might just draw out what the person its interacting with lusts for the most, without really revealing anything of itself.
One of the larger eggs. Whatever is inside promises to be big and flashy, from what it feels like when it touches the mind. The egg is a cream color with a few red plumes, like feathers. It keeps building itself up no matter what, but something seems to be lurking under the surface of its promises of greatness. Like it could let you down.
A very small egg. It is mostly purple with swirls of yellow and red. It seems dead.
Another very small egg in the clutch. It knows that right now its not great, but it has big dreams and wants you to know that you can count on it in the long run. The bright orange egg is speckled with a soft gradient of orange to red on one side, almost like a sunset. It wants to impress anyone who comes near.
This egg is about medium in size, but from touching it you would think it was a Gold! This egg is large and in charge and just knows that it's going to take the world by storm! It seems eager to burst out of its shell, as if it could do it now. However, it also seems to have a massive rebellious streak in it. The egg is mostly pinks and greens, with a few dots of brown and red.
A very melancholy egg. The egg is medium in size and is mostly white. A small fleck of color is at the top, a little red and green resembling a hairpin (if you squint). This egg is very reserved when approached and doesn't seem too eager to be around others. Whenever it does make contact, a few fleeting feelings of what it might be are there but it will quickly pull that back and return to its stoic nature. It seems most wary of the Make a Man Out of You Egg.
One of the larger eggs in the bunch. This egg is full of browns and a few lines of yellow and red. This egg is very strict and seems to be a natural born leader. It seems to search through your soul when approached, and tends to recoil with disgust most of the time. However, mostly its time is spent sending bad vibes to the Sugar Rush Egg, which never seems to notice.
The smallest egg in the clutch. It is a charming mix of blue, green and red. It seems dead.
One of the smaller eggs. This egg is always very energetic, but not on the same level as the Sugar Rush Egg. It just seems happy, but also seems like its dead set on making a good impression. It has sort of a nonsensical feel about it, but still seems very intelligent and just leaves a good feeling behind when it touches the mind. The egg itself is a deep blue with just a splash of red at the very bottom of the egg.
A medium sized egg. The egg is a sweet mix of blues, greens, and one bold smudge of red right in the middle. It is a slow and sweet egg, which seems to leave a nostalgic feeling of romance in its wake. The egg is eager to jump into any mind that comes near, but only seems to linger on ones who have had romance recently on the mind.
An egg that is on the small side. However, it seems to have a very motherly feel about it. This one also doesn't leave behind the odd feeling like the Mother Knows Best Egg does. It is a a mottled mix of bright colors on green, like when one looks at a garden from a distance.
A small egg. Its attention seems as fleeting as the wind. The egg is spiraled with purple, blue, red and green like leaves rustling on a breeze. It feels like its holding something back, as if it knows the answer to some question that you don't even know but wants you to figure out the answer yourself.
One of the largest eggs in the clutch. It swirls with blacks and dark greens, with small specks of yellow and red at the bottom. It feels just as sinister as it looks when approached. It seems to whisper your darkest secret in your ear while also promising fame and glory. 'But are you willing to pay the price?' it always seems to ask as it retreats from the mind...
A medium sized egg. Its specked in black and white, with a patch of red at the very top. This egg believes itself to be the cream of the crop. It just knows that it needs to be pampered and get everything that it could ever want! It seems more obsessed with getting its way than actually which Candidate it chooses, but it often has a special interest in the females who slide by for some reason. A strange egg.
The second largest egg in the entire clutch, not counting the three Gold eggs. It has one of the most detailed, and odd, eggshells. Mostly it is cream, but has a pattern of blue orbs that almost resemble bubbles floating around the shell. A teeny, tiny dot of red is hidden away at the very bottom in such a way you would have to get on your knees and press your face to the sands to see it. The egg starts out brash and abrasive when approached, but those who aren't scared off can easily see its just nervous. It quickly softens up and almost seems to whisper on the mind like a bird singing.
A medium sized egg. The shell is a pale blue and white gradient, almost like fresh snowfall can appear at times. A single, faded red teardrop is all the red on this egg, tying it in with the rest of its clutch. This egg seems to not care if you approach or not, as if its shrugged off a great burden that it has always held. Its proud of itself now, but just from the fleeting glimpses of its inner self most can gather that this confidence is shaky and new.
An egg that is on the larger side. The bright blue top matched with the sandy brown bottom give off the impression of a beach; little red specks are even sprinkled in the brown part like seashells. This egg seems to be very relaxed in nature, but still takes a lot of pride in itself and what it is. Yeah, its a dragon, and yeah, maybe its not the best inside (or maybe it is?) but its still content and happy with itself and you can't change that.
One of the largest eggs in the clutch. Its shell is a mix of white, orange, and black. A few little red spots are scattered around it, in the oddest formation almost like a cat's paw-print. This egg is just as chill in the He Mele No Lilo Egg, perhaps even more so, and seems just as pleased with itself. However, it has more an air of being full of itself than the smaller egg does. Many who draw close find themselves to be unconsciously humming a pleasing tune when the egg turns its attention away from them.
A small and unassuming egg that doesn't really try to draw attention to itself. In fact if you didn't look hard enough you might not even see it. The shell very nearly blends into the sand with a dull brown color with only a few distinguishing blue marks towards the bottom. The egg reaches out gently to test the waters but often recalls faster than you can get much more than a hint of gentle sadness from it.
He’s a Tramp
The largest of the three Gold eggs. It sits dead center of the Clutch, like a shining star. Strange that it doesn’t seem to garner that much attention! Mixed in with the luscious gold shell are a few light swirls of pale red at the very base, almost hidden from sight.

This egg is very easily noticed as one of the more vibrant eggs on the sands. They're more hopeful and bright and leave whoever was touched by the egg a little more confident in themselves than they were before.Strangers Like Me
Curious and not afraid to show it this mid-sized egg doesn't have a lot to say. Instead it wants the candidates to tell it things. The deep rich brown and vibrant green makes the people it prods at think of rich soil and bright greens. Things forbidden in most parts of pern due to the threadfall.Love is an Open Door
